ATO 2021 Summary and Overview
October 27, 2021Despite a lot of uncertainty in the lead-up to the conference and a few things that didn’t go exactly as planned, we feel the end result was in a word, wonderful.
We sincerely hope everyone that participated felt and feels the same way.
Please find below a few items designed to provide a quick overview of the 2021 event. And plan now to join us October 23-25, 2022 for our 10 year anniversary.

While the majority of images from the conference still need to be edited and uploaded to the ATO Flickr account, we’ve included a few images from the conference below.
Attendees were greeted by a trio of astros once arriving at the Convention Center.
The check-in process was both smooth and safe.
Volunteers were absolutely the best. We couldn’t do it without them.
The Inclusion & Diversity event was a big success with lots of engagement.
Inclusion & Diversity seating was distanced, as promised. Safety was a priority.
More Inclusion & Diversity attendees in the 4th floor ballrooms.
We gave away some amazing prizes, including this Macbook Pro.
The Sunday Welcome Social took place outside, and the weather was perfect.
We gave away nearly 1,000 t-shirts onsite, and volunteers made it possible.
Attendee seating for morning keynote blocks was again distanced.
The event was truly hybrid, with both virtual and in-person speakers.
Adam Steltzner of NASA delivered a fantastic Monday morning anchor keynote.
