Dr. Jure Zakotnik is a Senior Manager for Digitalisation and Innovation at the German development bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau), where he explores how emerging technologies can be applied to create tangible solutions with social impact.
His recent projects include DLT for development cooperation, digital public goods, as well as AI and quantum technologies for ESG. He is a digital native imprisoned in the body of an old man and believes in experimentation over planning. When given a choice, he would pick python instead of powerpoint.
In his spare time, he manages an open source application for school libraries and enjoys working with the community.
