Please join us as we kick off 2023 and host our first ever meetup in Charlotte!
The evening will feature a world-class speaker (Mike Bifulco) discussing a really good topic (Unlocking the Power of Open Source to Launch Your Startup and Career), networking, cool giveaways (t-shirts, hats, technology), and food and beverages.
*Please note, we will serve food and beverages. Sandwich trays will be available, as will cookies and popcorn and infused water.
Doors open at 5:30 pm for networking, live programming begins at 6:30 pm ET sharp. We’ll wrap things up by 8:00.

Talk Title: Unlocking the Power of Open Source to Launch Your Startup and Career
Abstract:
Are you an aspiring builder, looking to build a company or grow your career? This talk will explore the tools and strategies I’ve used to build my career and several startups with open source technology and the community that surrounds it.
We will discuss the advantages of open building and using source software for startups, and how to be a great Open Source community member by contributing to projects and groups that matter to you most. We will also discuss how Open Source can be used to develop and market your product, and how to leverage it to build a successful career.

Bio:
Mike Bifulco is a developer advocate, author, and serial startup founder who previously worked for Google, Microsoft and Stripe.
