We receive consistent requests each year to host paid workshops at the conference. But due to logistical considerations we’ve never hosted one – until this year.
We’re proud to host not one, but two world-class workshops with two world-class speakers/instructors at the event next week.
Both workshops will be half-day (4 hours) and both will be hosted on Tuesday afternoon, October 23 from 12:45 – 4:45 pm ET. Each will take place in the Congressional Ballrooms at the Marriott hotel, which is connected to the Convention Center.
Whether you want to try out a new idea, share a quick code example, or build a complex app, Vue CLI 3 provides many tools to quickly achieve your goals. It can even help you build libraries of shared components or plugins for the Vue ecosystem. In this workshop, Chris will walk through each of these use cases, allowing you to quickly get starting on any kind of Vue project.
Monads and monoids and endofunctors. If that’s what it takes to understand Functional Programming, most of us are probably lost!
In this workshop, we’ll learn about pure functions, point-free style, iterations, and recursion.
Seating for each is limited to just 50 people and each costs just $50 USD (you read that right). Workshops of this quality are normally hundreds and thousands of dollars.
These are available on a first-come first-served basis and are only available to those already registered for the conference. If you are registered for All Things Open, you would have received an email with the codes to unlock the hidden ticket option to register. If you did not receive this email, but are registered for All Things Open, please contact us at [email protected].
