Spacewalk 2021 Details – Tuesday, January 19 @ 12 noon EDT

We're thrilled to host our annual Spacewalk event again on Tuesday, January 19.

For the uninitiated, Spacewalk is our annual January "kick-off" where we identify upcoming events for the new year, and where we announce new platforms and projects. It's exciting and a good opportunity to "mark calendars" and get involved.

In addition, we host at least one world-class speaker and do multiple give-aways.

In 2020 we featured Andy Hunt, author of the classic book The Pragmatic Programmer, and hosted an exclusive book signing afterwards. Nearly 200 attended and participated and the book signing was one of the most successful we've ever done.

In 2021 we'll host Jono Bacon, one of the foremost experts in the world on the topic of "open source community". He'll deliver a talk on the topic of building (open source) community with email, and we'll give away numerous signed hardcover copies of his award-winning People Powered book (the books are free and we pick up shipping). We'll also give away many other items, including ATO t-shirts and hats, Raspberry Pi Desktop Kits, a CooFun Linux-Compatible Mini PC, and more.

Spacewalk is a 100% free event, but registration is required in Zoom.

Questions can be directed to the ATO team at info@allthingsopen.org.
