The All Things Open team is thrilled to host Jay LaCroix, aka Jay the Linux Guy, at their January meetup.

The event will take place Tuesday evening, January 16 in downtown Raleigh at Marbles Kids Museum in the IMAX Theater.

Jay will deliver the talk “10 Linux Terminal Tips and Tricks” and will take extended questions from audience members. He will also sign copies of his book Mastering Ubuntu Server, 4th edition from Packt Press.

Jay is known worldwide in the technology, open source and Linux spaces for his down-to-earth teaching style and thought-leading content. His YouTube channel, Learn Linux TV, has ~ 550,000 subscribers and his videos have been viewed millions of times.

This is a FREE event open to the public. IMAX Theater seats hundreds, so capacity will not be an issue.

Doors Open: 5:30 pm for networking
Live Programming: Begins at 6:30 pm ET sharp in the IMAX Theater
Food and Beverage: Free pizza and drinks will be served, but supplies will be limited. The IMAX concession bar will be open.
Swag and Giveaways: All Things Open shirts and hats will be available, on a first-come first-served basis. Supplies will be limited, so arrive early if you want something.
